Wireless Technologies Or Internet Are Used To Essay

Wireless technologies or Internet are used to develop a network through transmission of radio-frequency signals between computers for information sharing. Since these technologies do not use wires/cables, the broadcast of information within the network is primarily based on radio signals. Wireless technologies have developed to become very popular across every facet of society because they have revolutionized communication. These technologies basically emanated and were developed in the computer networking technologies field. In order to enhance competitiveness in computer networking, there are various types of wireless technologies that are currently in use. The two major wireless technologies that could be suitable for Party Plates organization include Wi-Fi Technology:

Wi-Fi technology that is also known as Wireless Fidelity is one of the major wireless networks that could be beneficial to Party Plates organization and is based on IEEE 802.11 stipulations for Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN). This type of wireless technology...

In addition to working only on high frequency radio signals, Wi-Fi technology also functions on few hundreds feet between the various points of transmission of data ("Types of Wireless Technologies," n.d.).
Notably, this type of wireless technologies is divided into three main sections that with which the functioning and application of the Wi-Fi network depends on. These three parts for the technology are infrastructure mode, ad hoc network, and mixed network. Moreover, the standards and specifications for the operation of Wi-Fi technology are established by a working group of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

The advantages of using Wi-Fi technology in the organization include the fact that this technology has a higher speed of transmission of data of between 7 Mbps and 11 Mbps as compared to the other wireless technologies. Secondly, the popularity and increased use of…
